Faves of the Month: December 2024

Better late than never, right? I feel like December disappeared right on past me. One minute I was complaining that it was too early to put up my holiday decorations and the next it’s 10 (!!!) days until Christmas! My tree has no ornaments yet, I still want more lights for my outdoor decor, and I have zero idea what to get some very important people in my life! But I’m learning to let go of the need for it all to be done and perfect, and stressing about it. If it all gets done in the next 10 days, it gets done. And if it doesn’t? Well, that’s what next year is for!

Here’s what I’m loving for this very last month of 2024:

I am obsessed with this pleated midi skirt. I literally bought it in green, red, and gold – and the black in currently sitting in my cart! It’s so festive, and such a classic pleated style – and it’s only $26. Truly I can’t find one thing not to love. I wore it last night to a Christmas party and it was just so flippy and fun to wear, and I felt like such a cutie little Christmas queen. Sizes seems to be going in and out of stock so if they don’t have yours, try for in-store pick-up or set notifications for restocks!

I saw this in-store early on in the season and wanted it so, so very much, but the Polly Pocket House barely lends itself to an actual Christmas tree, let alone an 8 foot Christmas tree arch. But then it went on sale and I had the most unhinged idea ever – put it outside! So I bought it immediately, and well, you can see the extent my unhinged-ness reached over on Instagram. ♡

Really just a very cute, completely unnecessary, but absolutely joyful little falala $8 hair clip. I’ve had it in my bag all month to toss my hair up with and the little bit of holiday sparkle just makes me happy whenever I use it. It’s also the perfect addition to a self care Brr Basket, or a stocking stuffing for the girlies, just saying!

Can you tell I’m a festive little holiday princess yet? If I could dress Christmas themed all month, I would… and honestly, I kind of do. So this matching Santa Baby sweatshirt and sweatpants set was in my cart, purchased, and on its way to my house faster than you could even ask Santa to hurry down the chimney tonight. It’s more of a knit fabric than traditional fleece material, and has a faux cable knit texture to it, which just makes it the cutest set to lounge around the house to. Would be so cute on Christmas morning too!

I kind of unofficially officially collect Taylor Swift books, so when I saw Invisible Strings, I knew it was going to be added to the collection. The book itself is such a pretty addition to a shelf, but I also think the poems are so sweet and fun to read. They’re all responses to Taylor Swift songs and it’s kind of fun to read them and try and figure out which song they correlate with. If you are struggling with a unique gift for a Swiftie, or need one last minute, this is an amazing option.
