I’m just going to say it – I feel like November is literally the most overlooked month of the year. Everyone these days seems to want to jump from Halloween right into Christmas, and not give Thanksgiving its rightful dues! It’s the best holiday! Food, fun, family, food, food, and oh yeah, more food… what’s not to love? Here’s what else I’m loving during the red-headed stepchild month of the year:
turkey day earrings.
I am the queen of a statement earring, and truly I do not feel that Thanksgiving has been properly represented in the statement earring market! We get Halloween and holiday earrings for days, and sometimes a cute fall style, but an honest to goodness Thanksgiving pair? So I absolutely had to get these. So cute to pair with your turkey day festivities!
crushed velvet blue power suit.
Obsessed with the crushed velvet, oversized look for this suit. I love pairing a wide leg pant suit with a very girly platform heel, and contrasting the size of the suit with a cute cropped top underneath. Also comes in black and a really pretty mocha coffee color, but I just love the deep sapphire blue color so much!
off-white bone booties.
I became absolutely obsessed with bone off-white booties a few years ago – I just think they are a total modern classic piece and pair so well with almost everything in the fall and winter seasons. Finding the right pair is hard though, because a white boot can go oh so wrong oh so fast. These ones are currently in my cart, and I’m having such a hard time reminding myself that I have a very similar pair already!
the one with the turkey sweatshirt.
There’s just no television show that does a Thanksgiving episode better than Friends. Literally my ideal Thanksgiving would be wearing this sweatshirt in an oversized fit, some cozy soft stretchy pants (“These are my Thanksgiving pants!”), literally all of the stuffing, turkey, and mashed potatoes I could fit on a plate, and all the Thanksgiving episodes of Friends on repeat in the background. Who’s coming over for this epicness?
chiefs friendship bracelets.
Who knew how powerful a friendship bracelet could be? Well, actually, I think all of us precocious little tween girls knew of their power once upon a time in our childhood, but we were definitely reminded of it this last year in case we forgot! So if we used the power of a friendship bracelet across the entire Eras tour, it’s only right that we extend the magic to our girl Taylor’s man and spread a little bit of that friendship bracelet magic to the Chiefs.
