January has been the L O N G E S T month in the history of ever – and truly maybe one of the most depressing as well. I don’t know about you guys though, but I often just need a break from the onslaught of horrible news and tragedies and this month I really found that escape in all the cozy girlies’ long-form content on YouTube. In my ongoing recovery from being a perfectionist, it’s been really refreshing to see a side to social media that isn’t focused on everything being perfect, you know what I mean?
Since this month has been one of the tougher ones to get through, let’s chat about some of the things that got me through this seemingly never-ending January, and will hopefully help get you through the rest of this year:

I know, I know, a New Year’s Resolution to start going to gym – so cliché! I tried to make the gym my thing last year, which failed spectacularly, so this year I really shifted the goal. I just want to move my body a few times a week. I’m pragmatic enough to understand that making it my lifestyle is just really not going to work for a soft, cozy girl like myself. I picked 3 days and times that fit into my schedule, and here we are at the end of the month and it’s working out quite well for me! But I quickly realized that throwing my gym sneakers into my bag is not the vibe, so I ordered this pink mesh shoe bag from Amazon and it’s honestly perfect. I love that it has a handle so I don’t even actually have to put it in my bag, I can just clip it onto the handle and not worry about any gross nasties from the gym getting mixed up with everything else in my bag.

The way that I have literally been wearing this jumpsuit from the Blogilates x Target drop almost non-stop since I got it. It is perfect. So soft, so stretchy, so cozy, and it has THUMB HOLES! I bought it in all three colors, but the black is by far my favorite. It’s just a really nice piece to feel so comfortably and loungey in, but still feel very chic and not like you’re just wearing pajamas. The legs do run long – I’m 5’4″ and I definitely need to get mine tailored, but I’m telling you, absolutely worth it.

Remember how I said I was obsessed with the cozy girlies on YouTube? I’ve definitely been playing around with shooting some long-form content of my own after watching them, and just using my iPhone while I’ve been puttering around and getting used to shooting that different style of content. But it’s not always the best for long-form content in all honesty, so I wanted to try out the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 as I got more comfortable with day-to-day vlogging. It definitely has a learning curve especially if you are coming from just using your phone, but I love how compact it is and the cinematic quality of the footage makes it 100% worth it. I’m excited to keep playing with it, but so far it’s been a really fun little camera to tote around and shoot with.

I’m so extra when it comes to holiday decor, which means when all is said and done and I’ve taken it all down (the Christmas lights stay up ’til January in this house, because Taylor Swift said it was alright to do!), I have a lot of it. I found these massive 128 qt wheeled storage bins when I was dealing with taking down my Halloween decor and they once again came through for me with my Christmas decor. They fit so much so easily, but they’re still really easy for me to move around (even the heavier ones!) because they have a handle and wheels. I’m a Type A organizing queen, so these just really sing to my heart and have completely made a difference in storing my seasonal decor.

Every Type A girlie knows that a good label maker can make or break your systems and this big baddie Brother P-Touch label maker is my weapon of choice. I have literally toted this thing around from my house to my job because it’s the only one I will use. It just has so many options, designs, tape color options, you name it. It’s just the best, and I will accept no other in my life.
